Become a Grill Master at BLT Steak’s Summer Cooking Series
Summer is the time to re-ignite your passions that may have dulled with the winter blues; adopt new hobbies, get outside, learn new skills! One fun way to do this right here in the city is BLT Steak DC and Chef Michael Bunk’s Summer Cooking Series! Each month throughout the summer there’s a different themed class on a Saturday afternoon from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the BLT Steak location on I Street NW.
Coming up on July 13th is the BBQ Bonanza event, where you’ll learn how to become a master griller. The highlight of this meal is the smoked wagyu brisket, which will be accompanied by sides including smoked shrimp and grilled peaches with ice cream for dessert. If grilling isn’t your thing, head to the August 3rd event, BLT Steak’s Greatest Hits. This meal kicks off with fresh tuna tartare, followed by a 28-day dry aged NY Strip, with peanut butter chocolate mousse for the finale. Each event starts with behind-the-scenes tour, followed by personalized guided demonstrations on how to cook a perfect meal. After the demo is over, guests enjoy a three-course meal with pairings from the wine cellar.
