Returning for Its 15th Year on Nov. 22: DC’s Downtown Holiday Market!
With the Downtown Holiday Market back for another year, there is hardly any reason to do mall shopping this season. You can knock everyone off your gift-giving list in one trip, including your toughest recipients. How about a new vase for mom, jewelry for your sister, and a cool painting for your best friend? You’ll find all that, plus textiles, ornaments, and other special handmade items throughout the nearly 60 exhibitors. The vendors also rotate throughout the duration of the market, so even if you have a few extra things to grab, another stroll through will garner a whole new set of treasures. While you shop, enjoy entertainment and plenty of seasonal treats, not to mention a healthy dose of twinkling lights and good cheer.
The Downtown Holiday Market opens on Friday, November 22, and will run daily until Monday, December 23 from noon to 8 p.m. each day. Find all the booths on F Street, right in front of the Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Portrait Gallery.
