At the concert, the National Symphony Orchestra will perform for absolutely no charge on the West Lawn of the capitol building. Guests who want to show up early can catch a peek at the symphony’s rehearsal for the performance, starting at 3:30 p.m. In the event that Labor Day weekend is plagued with rain, the performance will be held at the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theatre.
