Enjoy a Globally Inspired Brunch at Compass Rose

Owner Rose Previte opened Compass Rose as a way to commemorate the three-year adventure she went on with her husband, during which they explored more than 30 countries. She realized that not everyone had the luxury of being able to globetrot in this way, so she decided to take DC dwellers on a trip around the world using internationally inspired dishes.

Come to Compass Rose for its popular brunch to circumnavigate the globe in a single sitting. During brunch, the team serves the main menu, which encompasses house-cured fish from Denmark, ground lamb and lemon tahini from Lebanon, and grilled duck hearts from Peru, to name just a few of the dishes. In addition to these exotic staples, brunch also offers a few specialties, like the Shakshuka from the Middle East. The dish showcases a pair of poached eggs with tomato-piquillo pepper sauce, yogurt, and feta cheese.
