The Dance Institute of Washington: Where Allegro Dancers Can Practice Their Pirouettes
As its name suggests, The Dance Institute of Washington teaches dance of all kinds: tap, ballet, hip-hop, and more. The Institute's youth outreach programs offer mentoring, life skills training, and workforce development, in addition to dance, and it's thanks to these wrap-around support services for at-risk youth that the Institute has been the recipient of so many awards over the years.
