Stock Up on Regionally Produced Food at the Mt. Pleasant Farmers’ Market

When the Mt. Pleasant Farmers' Market refers to its food as "local," it means solely food from Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and DC. No farmers or purveyors from outside of these mid-Atlantic states are allowed at the Mt. Pleasant Farmers' Market, and the market is for producers only, meaning those people sitting behind the booths are the same who've cultivated the crops and raised the meats they're selling.

Starting on April 1st, come to check out the farmers market at the Mount Pleasant Street Plaza. It unfolds every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., playing host to a slew of farmers, bakers, and other food artisans. Pick up seasonal, local fruits and veggies. Stock up on freshly baked loaves of bread and handcrafted treats. Bring home eggs, meat, and dairy products from these trusted sources. Feel free to bring your pup or your bike along to this fresh-air market while you browse.
