Purchase Unique Handmade Wares at the Smithsonian Craft Show April 24 – 28
Starting with a special preview reception on Wednesday April 24 and running through Sunday April 28, the Smithsonian Craft Show will celebrate its 37th year in DC. The National Building Museum will serve as the backdrop to what has indisputably become the most important and respected juried show of American craft and design in the nation.
`Over 120 artists spanning the fields of basketry, ceramics, furniture design, jewelry-making leather, glass, and woodwork, decorative fibers and more will show their work, with items both for display and for sale. During the opening night reception, the Smithsonian will honor Baltimore’s own Joyce J. Scott with the Smithsonian Visionary Award for her celebrated work in the field of jewelry design.
