The Battle is in its 26th year, and takes place between 3rd and 7th Streets on Pennsylvania Avenue. The contest and all its delicious barbecued food is certainly at the center of this yearly festival, but the weekend has much more to offer. Over 30 bands are scheduled to provide the soundtrack for the event, and there will be plenty of exhibits, attractions, and family-friendly activities for the kids. Plus, the Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest will premiere for the first time at The Battle for your chance to see this national spectacle live and in person.
