Slapfish Debuts a New Restaurant Location Near Allegro
Back in 2011, Slapfish was just a food truck serving up fresh seafood in Southern California. Today, the modern seafood chain boasts dozens of locations across the United States, including the very newest one in the Golden Triangle on M Street. Its rapid expansion is a testament to both the appeal and the eastery’s execution of the fast-casual seafood concept.
The menu features a range of fish tacos, seafood soups and salads, and a whole section of lobster dishes that can make your lunch hour feel like something special. Regulars give particular praise to the smothered chowder fries, the enormous shrimp burrito, and the "clobster" grilled cheese sandwich packed with crab and lobster meat. Pair it with a few house-made pickles and a freshly-squeezed lemonade and you’ll be full until dinner. If you’re trying to be a bit more health-conscious, you’ll appreciate that Slapfish also offers a full menu of salads and bowls, including a grilled fish salad and a Hawaiian poke bowl.
