Discover Local Crafts and Wares at Shop Made in DC
Are you an Etsy addict? Then you’re going to love Shop Made in DC. These local storefronts located in Dupont, Wharf and Carnegie Library are selling the wares of talented makers based right here in our fair city. On a rotating basis, the shops feature a selection of food and retail products to ensure everyone gets their chance to shine and start their business. There’s also a cafe on-site at the Dupont location that serves up local coffee, beer, wine, kombucha and baked goods so you can snack on local goods while shopping for them!
Beyond shopping and snacking, they host events periodically that are hosted by the makers featured in the stores. Upcoming classes include beginner cookie decorating, intro to hand lettering, paint and sip, watercolor workshops, drawing nights, botanical perfume making and so much more. Check out their events page to see all the options coming up.
Are you a creative looking for somewhere to launch your entrepreneurial journey? You can apply to be one of their makers right on their website!
