This unique restaurant concept is part coffee house, part casual bistro, and offers DC residents the best of both worlds. Owners Ryan Fleming and Miranda Lopez originally conceptualized Slipstream as a coffee shop where neighbors could gather while highly-trained baristas expertly prepared various espresso drinks. Later, the pair decided to add hand-crafted cocktails to the mix, as an invitation for customers to visit in the evening, as well. Right now the entire menu (beverages, as well as food) is available with contactless pick-up service, including prepared meals, make-at-home meal kits, and pantry packs filled with staples like flour, milks, and eggs.
